What the Group is Working On

Dian's Global Warming

July to September are the months for our members to consider Global Warming and hosting our bead-along is Robin Atkins. Robin has set the scene for us with thoughts and inspiration from her new book and members are busily beading away the months with their interpretation. First to finish is Dian with her gorgeous little tree. We look forward to more dolls with great anticipation.

We also have fourteen members enjoying our current Round Robin which started last month. It's early days yet but the dolls are looking exciting. Here are just a few of the dolls as an example of the first stage of their journey.

Sampler Doll Bead-a-long

The entries for the Sampler Doll are displayed above. This bead-a-long was designed to learn how to bead a face and learn six new stitches. There wasn't a vote on the favorite and everyone knew that before starting. The creativity of this group is exceptional, as shown by the difference in the completed dolls. Each one is unique, but still is created according to the rules. Congratulations to all seven members who finished.
